Note from the creator: 

In a classic case of professional deformation, I turned my electricity consumption data into a dashboard 🤓

The trigger was to get a better understanding of my user profile as this is valuable input to decide on making the investment in solar panels and a home battery.

The visuals provided by Fluvius are not sufficient, hence this dashboard.

Why this is for me a well-designed dashboard:

• Guides the user through multiple insights
• Overall consumption and how it compares to previous year
• Showing the different mapped user profiles, forcing the user to click to see his/her profile
• User profile with a calculated matching %, explaining the match and specific advice
• More details to discover with interactive charts
• Limited use of color
• Use of whitespace
• Technically:
• Use of background image, created via powerpoint
• Use of bookmarks
• Custom visual with Deneb (bullet chart)
• Dynamic icon for user profile, achieved via SVG measure
